Services

We understand that this is a hard time for you and we are here to help you explore your options and assist you in employing the best option and strategy for you. Our clients are very important to us and we work hard to create long-lasting relationships. We pride ourselves on integrity, trustworthiness and approach each matter from a strong ethical perspective.

We assist our clients with

  • Evaluating regional center eligibility, both in early childhood intervention and school age services

  • Advocating for services to be provided for the consumer through regional center and the school district

  • Certified regional center Self Determination Program ("SDP") independent facilitator

    • Assist with the pre-person-centered planning process, person-centered planning meeting and entry into SDP 

    • Drafting of the person-centered plan

    • Budget negotiations and certification

    • Selection of an Financial Management Service ("FMS") provider

    • Creation of a spending plan and approval of the spending plan by the Regional Center

    • Continued independent facilitator guidance during pendency of SDP participation by consumer​

  • Review of client file and assessments to assist in preparing family for meetings with regional center and/or the school district

  • Attend and advocate at meetings with regional center and the school district

  • Provide resources for clients and families to obtain funding for services

  • Communication with regional center and the district to request appropriate assessments and case review

  • Mediation and informal dispute resolution

  • Preparing and filing due process complaints

  • Referrals to service providers
